AZ Cocker Rescue

This is a long overdue update...
A wonderful couple that had recently lost their dog was interested in Sophie and when we asked them about Jack, they were kind enough to consider adding him to their family as well. So, after a few weeks fostering them to make sure it would be a good fit for everyone, Jack and Sophie are living the good life in their new home, TOGETHER!
It was only appropriate for this senior couple of cockers to move to Sun City West where they are enjoying their retirement with their retired new Moms!
At 11yrs & 13yrs, they were in desperate need of major dental cleanings and extractions and both did very well with their procedures. At their ages, we expected them to spend their remaining days in rescue as most adopters want younger dogs, we are beyond grateful they have found a home of their own where they are being spoiled rotten!!

They are beautiful. I loved reading Ann Laven’s post about cockers living to 30 and 22.

So happy for you girls....Have an amazing retirement

Seniors rock and have so much love to share 🐾🐶❤

So happy for these two. And thanks to their new moms. I had a cocker live to 22, another to 20. So they may have lots of time left.

I’m so happy for those two sweeties!

We still have Molly and we added a 4 yr old from the Arizona Humane Society last year. They are doing well too.

So awesome!!! They look so happy 😍

So sweet♥️

yay! Awesome news!

Awesome update

Such a great resolution for those Cocker babies!!!

Stories like this just make you feel warm and fuzzy..

Great news!

Jack was exhausted after his dental yesterday. Instead of resting inside, he wanted to be out with his buddies, making sure his favorite stuffed animal, the giraffe was close by.
Poor guy was so tired but didnt want to miss out on anything, so we all went inside so he didnt feel left out and he went to bed early 😴

Jack is 11yrs old. He was surrendered by his original owners so we had an exact age, otherwise we would think was much younger! He is an active fun guy and despite being a little on the chunky side, he even hops and gallops when he is excited. He is a total character!

How much is his adoption fee? I adopted an 8 year old cocker girl couple of months ago. Does he have a partner who he is attached to?

He is adorable

That face 😍

I love him 😍

how old is Jack?

Hmmm. No updates ????

Love him

Jack was a lil woozie after his dental yesterday but he did very well and only had to have 12 teeth extracted.
He still has his canines so his tongue won't stick out all the time like his sis, sophie's does.
